Tristan Coopersmith is the author of MENu Dating. After taste testing her way through four colleges, Tristan then taste-tested her way through a myriad of careers from educational research to hotel branding to ultimately becoming a recognized leader in consumer trend forecasting and market research (don't even ask about the assortment of jobs she had in high school/college, not to mention the dozens of extra-curriculars she did and yes, she has rocked just about every fashion style imaginable and there are pics to prove it). Her keen insights for human behavior led her to instruct CEOs of brands such as Nordstrom, Microsoft, Nike, Chanel, FOX, Gossip Girl, 90210 and J Brand, among countless others, in addition to A-list celebrities, via senior positions at Teen People and People Magazines, Columbia Records and The Intelligence Group. Her heart however always lied with, well, the heart. Tristan's passion for helping women dissect their love "herstory's" to uncover their love future potential is her life mission. She now boasts an impressive private coaching clientele and will soon be launching workshops to reach an even larger audience. Tristan also writes about falling in like, falling in love and falling into bed for several websites including YoungHollywood, YourTango and SheKnows, has been featured in a myriad of national press and has a feature in another book coming out soon.
Tristan lives in Los Angeles with none other than her main course and her two, too awesome-for-words stepkids. Anything else you want to know? Just ask!
Wait a minute... who's Todd? Todd is Tristan's boy's eye view. Tristan and Todd have been best friends since their playground days at age 8. As strictly platonic (with the exception of one drunken LOL kiss) roomies in their 20s, they performed a social experiment which committed them to become each other's dating coaches and interpreters of the often puzzling behavior of the opposite sex. MENu Dating is a compilation of the lessons learned along that journey.
